I haven't talked to Nate in a couple of days, so there really isn't much to report.  He is, as always, working crazy hours and with them having more flights in and out, he just doesn't have time to check in with me much.  He did send some new pictures of Mav and Mailie a few days ago.  Mav is getting so big!  I wish we could see him more.

Mav has gotten so used to seeing his daddy on skype, that now that Nate can't skype them so much, he keeps going to the computer and crying "Dada, dada".  So, Nate has ordered a computer of his own, so that hopefully he can skype him more.  The problem is that there are 3 guys that share one person's computer and take turns paying for the internet each month.  But the guy that actually owns the computer has now started taking it to work with him so that he can skype his family, but then the other 2 guys don't get to skype theirs.  So with Nate buying his own computer, it should help alot.  Then, he won't just have to email us while he is at work.  The internet is $90 a month, so he was trying not to have to buy his own computer and pay that each month, but to get to see Mav, it will be worth it.

When we thought he was coming home in August, it seemed like it was going fairly quickly, for me anyway, but now that he doesn't come back until February, it seems like it's just creeping along.  I keep focusing on when we get to see him and all the things we will do.  He is keeping a list of foods that he wants me to make when he gets back...Beach Bar tomato soup is, of course, at the top of the list!  And he can't wait to grill steaks again.  The simple pleasures that we don't stop to appreciate have all new meaning to him...and through him, to me as well.  I guess that's the upside of all this.
