There is now an OTIS fan page on facebook.  On it they post pictures of our unit (VMGR-252) and different activities that are going on...including a "Return from Deployment" meeting for the families of the deployed soldiers so that they know what to expect and tips on how to handle the reunion with the kids...things like that.  It just reminds me of how soon Nate would have been back if he was returning with the rest of his unit at their scheduled time.  Who knows, maybe something will happen and they will scrap the whole staying a year thing.  Either way, I am proud of him and the sacrifices he and all of the other soldiers are making.  Anyway, here is one of the pics from Afghanistan.  I will post more of them later.
