Today Nate got a package from his grandparents. He thrilled with all the goodies and especially the itunes card...now he can start buying music for his new ipod. He loves to run to music, so this should really help. He also said again how nice it was to be able to walk to the showers and back without having to stop and fix his flip flop several times. He said it was especially fun when his flip flop would break in the shower and he would have to balance on one foot while trying to fix it...fun stuff. I guess he was listening when we would go camping and I would tell him to NEVER, NEVER touch those showers with bare feet!
I'm glad that even though he has to stay there so much longer than he originally thought, he has something to look forward to. He never fails to mention how excited he is to be able to come back for a couple of weeks to see Mav and Mailie. I'm glad he is focusing on the positive and staying busy...that should help the time go that much faster.
Thank you to everyone for keeping Nate in your thoughts and prayers and thank you to everyone that is sending him goodies. He appreciates it sooooo much, and so do I.
